Our employee assistance programme, run by Health Assured, is there to help our staff and volunteers deal with any personal or professional problems which could be impacting on your general health and well-being.

What Health Assured can offer

  • Unlimited access to counselling
  • Legal information for issues that cause anxiety or distress including debt management, accountancy, lawsuits, consumer disputes, property or neighbour legalities
  • Bereavement Assistance
  • Employment-related issues, including advice on assertiveness, dealing with redundancy and work/life balance
  • Medical information
  • Online Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) including CBT self-help modules, informative factsheets and advice videos from leading qualified counsellors

All calls are treated in the strictest of confidence and in line with The British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) code of ethics. The only time confidentiality can ever be broken is if Health Assured believe you or a third party is in significant physical danger.

The Health e-hub app can aid with issues that might affect your work, health and personal life. It’s free to download and is available 24/7. It features advice and support, practical solutions and tips, expert health and wellbeing information and easy to access confidential support and advice services.

Please note – Community Reserve Volunteers will only have access to the Health e-hub app, not to the 24-hour helpline.
