Zoom Instructions
Zoom is a video calling service. The support line uses Zoom video calls for:
- Training operators
- Briefing operators before shifts
- Debriefing operators after shifts
For any meeting using Zoom video calls, we will send you:
- A link to a website
- A 10- or 11-digit code to enter into your computer, either through the Zoom app or website. For example ‘123 4567 8910’
- A phone number with a meeting ID number, so you can join over the phone instead of on a computer or tablet
You can use Zoom on any device connected to the internet including a desktop computer, laptop computer, tablet or smartphone, or you can dial in on your phone if you prefer.
You don’t need Zoom account to join a support line video meeting. You don’t have to download Zoom to use it. Some people prefer to use the Zoom app, rather than the website.
